Growing successful unique concept restaurant company is looking for a General Manager to manage their Derby operation

With restaurants throughout the UK, sites in the process of launching & plans to expand further throughout the UK & also internationally, the company have a unique quality offering that has meant continued success throughout the Covid 19 pandemic & the company have both managed & franchised operations.

The role itself is to oversee the running of the company’s Derby operation.

The successful candidate will manage performance, recruitment, policies & procedures within their restaurant, working hard to maintain and make improvements where necessary whilst driving sales.


What are we looking for?

  • The successful candidate will ideally be a solid, experienced General Manager & may consider an outstanding Deputy Manager who is ready to move into a GM role.
  • Must have a background of working for a quality branded restaurant operator with a reputation for strong processes & excellent training. We are NOT looking for a solely fast food or coffee shop background.
  • Experience of working within a table service environment.
  • MUST be based within commuting distance of Derby.
  • The ability to recruit, train, motivate & support your teams, working hard to maintain & improve service & performance in order to achieve & exceed budget.
  • The successful candidate will be committed to ensuring the Derby restaurant provides great service & an excellent guest experience.
  • A strong communicator who is good at developing strong local relationships
  • The desire to ‘get on’ & develop your career with a successful, expanding company that is going from strength to strength. There are good progression opportunities available for the right candidate as the company continue with their expansion.

Salary & package:

The starting salary for this role is 23k plus a bonus that will take this up to around 25k plus company benefits. There is also the chance to grow a career within a bigger role & for a solid company .
