We're on the lookout for an exceptional Head Chef to spearhead the Hospitality and Events division at an outstanding venue in Manchester. Renowned for its top-tier hospitality, our client is seeking a standout culinary leader to take the reins.
What are we looking for:
A seasoned Head Chef, with a flair for excellence and a drive to match the scale of this venue’s ambition. The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Inspirational Leadership: A proven track record of inspiring and coaching high-performing, multidisciplinary teams within a top-end, high-volume kitchen environment. Whether gained through experience within similar-sized venues or by orchestrating operations across multiple sites, the right person will possess a deep understanding of the complex demands and operational challenges inherent in large venues.
- Strategic Thinker: The successful candidate will possess the ability to think strategically, planning and coordinating multiple, consecutive events seamlessly. They excel at bringing together diverse teams at the right moments while responding to changes and client demands. In moments of pressure, they offer calm and clear direction, enabling the department to meet tight deadlines and exceed high expectations.
- Effective Communication: Meaningful engagement at all levels is essential. Whether interacting with direct reports, peers, internal clients, key suppliers, or VIP guests, the ideal candidate will instil confidence and reassurance with every interaction.
