42.5 hrs per week across 5 out of 7 days.

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a highly organised Assistant HR Manager to join the People Operations team of an outstanding iconic venue renowned for its top-tier hospitality and events.

What are we looking for:

As a member of the People Operations team your role will encompass HR, Employee Relations, Recruitment, Training & Development and Rostering. As well as the traditional office activities, you will work with the operational teams within the venue to ensure we deliver an exceptional experience to all of our workforce.Our ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Will be someone that brings expertise in people operations and shine in a fast pace settings, collaborating with diverse teams to drive the ongoing success of the People Operations team.
  • Demonstrates strong organisational abilities, consistently upholding high standards and efficiently delivering quality outcomes.
  • Excels in communication, adept at navigating diverse work environments and adeptly managing complex situations with thoughtfulness, confidence, and authenticity.
  • Possesses analytical skills and attention to detail, combined with a deep understanding of HR practices, and is committed to fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Approaches challenges with creativity and confidence, seeking out innovative solutions.
  • Displays a genuine interest in the hospitality sector.

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within HR or People Operations, preferably with an understanding of the hospitality industry and able to work within a similar fast paced environment.
  • Computer literate with particular proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of scheduling software and confident utilising intuitive cloud-based software. (E.g. HumanForce).
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification is desired but not essential.
