Our client, a highly regarded branded hotel operator, is looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join their successful team in the Aylesbury area.
You will support the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen, ensuring that each plate is prepared and presented to the highest standards, you will be part of the planning, preparation and execution of both the restaurant and the conference & banqueting offerings.
What are we looking for:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef or senior CDP.
- Experience of working within a branded hotel or restaurant operation.
- A passionate, proactive chef, who sees their profession as a career not just a job and is always driving to learn and improve their skills.
- A Sous Chef that is willing to train junior team members and learn from the Head chef.
- Someone with fantastic organisation skills that is happy to get involved with stock control, menu design, health and safety, presenting figure and forecasts and more.
