Chef Manager - Residential Property

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef Manager to oversee catering services within our residential complex. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for delivering high-quality meals while managing kitchen operations efficiently and professionally.
Service Times:
- Breakfast: 7:00am – 9:00am
- Lunch: 12:00pm – 2:00pm
- Dinner: 5:00pm – 7:00pm
The role is 40 hours per week, worked 5 days out of 7, on a rota basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver fresh, nutritious meals that meet residents’ dietary and nutritional needs
- Manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high standards
- Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff
- Manage stock control, ordering, budgets, and supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Work closely with residents and management to gather feedback and improve the dining experience
- Create appealing, seasonal menus tailored to resident preferences
About You:
- Proven experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef, or similar role
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and dietary requirements
- Ability to manage costs effectively while maintaining quality
- Relevant culinary qualifications and food safety certification
