Hospitality Systems & Launch Manager
Successful Restaurant Group
Derby base - with travel to sites if required
Salary: Up to around £39,000 plus various benefits, travel expenses, progression etc
Are you a systems, data or project professional who enjoys making complex things happen?
Do you have a sharp eye for detail, strong organisational skills and the confidence to coordinate multiple teams and deliver projects to deadline?
We are looking for a Hospitality Systems & Launch Manager to join an established and growing multi-site hospitality business and play a key role in how products, menus, pricing and technology are delivered across the restaurant estate.
This is not just a hospitality role.
We are also actively interested in candidates from outside hospitality and QSR.
You could come from retail, technology, banking, manufacturing, food service, finance, healthcare, consulting or another multi-site environment. If you've managed systems, master data, business change, implementations, go-lives or complex projects, your industry background is less important than your ability to demonstrate the right skills.
The role...
You'll own the accuracy, control and publication of product, menu, pricing, allergen, nutritional, HFSS, COGS and margin information across multiple systems and channels.
You'll also coordinate product, menu, pricing and campaign launches from planning and trials through to testing, go-live and post-launch review.
Working across Product Development, Operations, Marketing, Learning & Development, Commercial Finance, suppliers, franchise partners and technology providers, you'll bring all the moving parts together and make sure nothing falls through the gaps.
Key responsibilities
- Own product, menu and pricing data across EPOS, recipe/product systems, digital menus, delivery platforms, apps and other operational systems.
- Maintain a reliable source of truth and identify and resolve data, pricing and system inconsistencies.
- Coordinate allergen, nutrition, calorie and HFSS information and ensure it is accurately published.
- Own launch plans, deadlines, actions, testing and readiness across multiple workstreams.
- Coordinate product trials and work closely with restaurants and franchise partners to capture feedback and evidence.
- Support EPOS and wider hospitality technology projects, including testing, implementation, rollout and post-launch support.
- Monitor live launches, resolve issues quickly and escalate risks early.
- Work with Commercial Finance to ensure product, cost, COGS, pricing and margin information is accurate.
- Improve processes, controls and systems to reduce avoidable errors and improve restaurant execution and guest experience.
What we're looking for...
You'll ideally have experience of:
- Managing data or information across multiple systems and platforms.
- Coordinating projects, launches, implementations or go-lives with multiple stakeholders.
- Working with structured data and spreadsheets, with excellent attention to detail.
- Managing competing deadlines and following through actions.
- Communicating confidently with operational, commercial, technical and external stakeholders.
- Understanding how accurate product, pricing and system information impacts commercial performance, restaurant operations and the guest experience.
We're also looking for someone who is proactive, methodical, commercially aware, resilient and confident enough to challenge something when it isn't right.
You should be comfortable saying “this isn't ready” when there is a genuine compliance, operational or systems risk, and confident enough to recommend a solution.
Hospitality experience is desirable – not essential
Experience with EPOS, recipe management, delivery platforms, hospitality technology, product costing, data migration, franchised businesses or allergen/HFSS requirements would be useful, but these can be learned.
What matters is that you can demonstrate strong project management, data skills, systems confidence and stakeholder management.
What does success look like?...
You'll be successful when:
- Restaurants and guests can trust the information in front of them.
- Launches happen on time without avoidable last-minute disruption.
- Data and pricing errors are significantly reduced.
- Trials generate useful evidence and franchise partners feel genuinely consulted.
- Systems issues are resolved quickly and completely.
- EPOS and technology projects are successfully implemented.
- Systems and processes become more controlled, documented and efficient.
- The business spends less time fixing preventable errors and more time improving products and performance.
A role with real ownership...
This isn't simply an administration or coordination position. You'll have the authority to challenge inaccurate or incomplete information, escalate missed deadlines and recommend delaying a launch where significant risks remain unresolved.
You'll work across the business, have visibility with senior stakeholders and play a key role in ensuring new products, menus, pricing and technology are successfully delivered.
If you're a strong systems, data or project professional looking for a role where your attention to detail, commercial thinking and ability to make things happen will genuinely make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
