Guest Services Supervisor – High-Profile Commercial Property Operator
Location: Cambridge City Centre
Salary: £37,500 + Bonus + Fantastic Benefits
Hours: Full-time, on-site, 40 hours per week
We're looking for a high-energy, outgoing and naturally personable Guest Services Supervisor to join a highly regarded commercial property operator in Cambridge.
You'll be based across two impressive, high-end commercial properties in the heart of the city, home to a variety of high-profile occupiers, from leading technology businesses to professional services organisations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves being front of house, enjoys meeting people and takes genuine pride in creating an outstanding first impression.
Personality is key! We're looking for someone with bags of energy, confidence and enthusiasm, who can build relationships, engage with people at all levels and bring real personality to the guest and occupier experience.
You'll combine a hands-on front-of-house presence with day-to-day building coordination, occupier engagement and operational support.
The Role
Reporting to the Cluster Building Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day guest and occupier experience, ensuring the buildings run smoothly and service standards remain exceptional.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for occupiers, visitors and contractors.
- Creating a welcoming, professional and memorable front-of-house experience.
- Building strong relationships with occupiers and becoming a familiar, trusted face across the buildings.
- Managing enquiries, resolving issues and delivering a proactive, solutions-focused service.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of both buildings.
- Coordinating contractors, suppliers and planned maintenance activity.
- Supporting health & safety, compliance and statutory requirements.
- Maintaining exceptional standards across reception and communal areas.
- Supporting occupier events, engagement initiatives and building communications.
- Assisting with purchase orders, invoices, building inspections and helpdesk activity.
About You
We're particularly interested in people who bring personality, energy and genuine enthusiasm for guest services.
You'll ideally have:
- A strong and stable background in front-of-house, guest services or customer-facing hospitality.
- Experience within commercial property, residential property, workplace environments or a high-quality hospitality operation.
- Bags of personality, confidence and positive energy.
- A natural ability to engage with people, build relationships and make a great first impression.
- Excellent communication skills and a polished, approachable manner.
- A proactive attitude and the confidence to take ownership and resolve problems.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer and occupier experiences.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
We're not looking for someone who simply wants to sit behind a reception desk. We want someone who is visible, engaged, proactive and genuinely enjoys being at the heart of a busy working environment.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within commercial property or facilities management.
- Familiarity with CAFM systems.
- IOSH or relevant Health & Safety qualifications.
The Package
- £37,500 basic salary.
- Discretionary bonus.
- Fantastic company benefits.
- Ongoing training and professional development.
- Genuine career progression opportunities.
- Supportive and collaborative working environment.
- The opportunity to work within an impressive, high-profile commercial property portfolio.
